Yes, a very common problems beginners have with using servos is assuming you can power them directly from a arduino board without problems. Servos should have their own independent voltage source and allow the arduino to just have to control the servos...

I was kinda afraid of modifying the schematics because  first i suck at understanding them... but i think i can understand them by now.

This has to be something simple.

Servos generally are not successfully used when powered from the arduino 5v. Could this be your problem?

Looks pretty good. Trace for pin 20 is kinda thin compared to the rest.  Maybe indicates it has not been routed yet?
Schematic turned out pretty good.
Still recommend a diode across R4 for reasons described before.  At least put pads in for it if you d...

Showcase your project: ListComPorts per Windows

Posted: 15 Feb 2013 08:00 AM PST

When Our Local Libraries Closed, Here’s How We Designed Our Own

When Our Local Libraries Closed, Here's How We Designed Our Own | Cities on GOOD.

What would you do if your city announced it would close 19 out of 25 local libraries? Protest, complain, become a cynic, or take action and create something new? A group of residents from Rotterdam chose the latter when we learned that our libraries would be closing by the end of 2012.

Making It Through The Blizzard of 2013

Posted: 16 Feb 2013 06:08 PM PST

long_way_to_goLike many people in Southern New England, we were hit pretty hard by the Blizzard of 2013. Not only did we lose power for three days, but our road was blocked by fallen trees (cutting our supply lines), and our natural gas heater won't fire without power, so we had to figure out how to get through those three days. Here's how we used an ad-hoc solar power system, wood stove, and some snow shoveling to keep warm, fed, and charged up.

To keep the motor control simple, the below toggle switch could be wired like the bottom schematic to operate the motor in the foward/reverse directions. Hot glue a chin cup to the switch leaver. Easy, quick, and inexpensive.
